Traditionally, February is the month of love, I like to take it a step further and make it the month of SELF-LOVE.


Like self-care, self-love is not something we are used to practicing. We care for everyone else and love on our loved ones, but what about us?


As busy women & moms, we can easily forget to take care of ourselves & love ourselves, often times putting ourselves last on the list.


Be more intentional with taking care of & loving yourself, put yourself on your daily to-do list, add activities that lift you up & bring you joy into the weekly schedule and take this month to create a self-care toolkit, filled with all the things you need to feel cared for & loved.


What is a Self-care tool kit & how to make your own:


It's a kit we create with all our go-to mind body & soul tools that help us maintain a healthy mind body & soul, which in turn helps us live a happier, healthier life! We are all different & have different weaknesses & strengths, and we need to build our kits with self-care tools that work for us.


Your Self-care toolkit can be positive affirmations, gratitude practice/gratitude journaling, meditation, prayer, regular exercise, yoga, breathe work, earthing, it can be making time for long walks or for catching the sunrise or sunset, it can be cooking your meals at home, it can be making time to garden or de-cluttering your home, it can be sitting alone sipping on a hot cup of tea reading a book.


It's making time to do the things that you love that fuel your soul & that bring you joy.


It's making sure that no matter how busy you are that you are never too busy to practice self-love & practice daily self-care.


Self-care is the way we fuel our self-love... because when we do things we love & that bring us joy, when we take care of our minds our bodies & our souls, we are saying to ourselves, I love you!


Real change begins with self-love & self-care. You can't hate yourself happy. You can't criticize yourself thin. You can't shame yourself worthy. Real change begins with self-love & self-care.

Because practicing daily self-care builds your self-worth.


And when you take time to take care of yourself, you are basically saying,"I'm worthy."


And when you say to yourself, "I'm worthy," that IS self-love!


Above everything else, genuinely love yourself first.
Self-love is powerful and it's the best love that you will ever have.
When you love who YOU are, your relationships will be healthier and your life will be happier.

One of the main paths to self-love is finding the courage to build a solid foundation of self-worth.


When we find the courage to really be honest about who we are and how we are choosing to show up to our lives, is when we start taking steps towards loving ourselves wholeheartedly.


So, try to muster the courage to be honest with yourself, about who you are now and who you are really, your authentic true self can get buried under so much of who you think you're supposed to be, instead of who you really are.


Be aware of your choices and thought patterns, and make conscious choices to be your authentic true self and create thought patterns that align with that vision.


Your self-worth is the foundation for your self-love.
