Self-care Routines • Make time to take care of yourself

Make sure you take some time for yourself, self-care is not selfish, it's necessary! When we say yes to self-love we're choosing to gift ourselves with some much needed self-care & soul-care.

... so today I'm going to dive a little deeper into #selfcareroutines


Do you have a routine you'd like to fine tune? or maybe you'd like to add an evening routine in now that you've got your morning routine down? or maybe you're just starting out, and you're creating your first Self-care routine...


... creating a self-care routine isn't hard at all! Just take a look at the things you do that lift you up, energize you and bring you joy, create a self-care toolkit, and put the tools that you've selected for your needs together into daily routines (for more on how to make a #selfcaretoolkit check out my blog -

Here's an example of a day of Self-care routines :


Morning Self-care routine :


Meditate

Coffee

Gratitude practice

Affirmations

Walk or yoga or interval training


OR


Hot lemon water

Gratitude

Visualization

Journal

Skincare

Makeup & hair

Dress in what brings me joy


Throughout the day, Self-care routines :

Be mindful - be present and enjoy the moment

Slow down - and do one thing at a time don't multi-task

Hydrate

Stretch hourly

Eat healthy foods that fuel your body


Evening Self-care routines :


Skincare

Hot tea

Bedtime notes - brain dump or plan next day

Sleep meditation


OR


Gratitude practice

Bedtime yoga

Shower or take a hot bath

Sleep mask

Sounds for sleep


Remember, these are just a few examples. Self-care is many things and comes in many forms, so tailor your Self-care toolkit and Self-care routines to your needs and lifestyle and watch how you blossom and thrive when you make some time to take care of yourself.


It's not enough to just hope for a happy, healthy life; it's a combination of mindset, routines, and habits that will get you there ~

My daily routines are what fuel me & keep me going. I have an AM , a during the day & a PM routine. When times are good, they remind me to be present and to enjoy living. When times are hard, they support me and keep my going ! So take some time to think, ponder, reflect, journal, and plan your daily SELF-CARE ROUTINES and start living a happier, healthier life 🫶
